Camel riding is both a leisure activity and a mode of transportation. Passengers can explore different areas of the Dubai desserts by riding camels, the domesticated mammals that contributed to UAE’s rich culture and heritage.

Camel riding is probably the most popular tourist activity in Dubai. Paired with an exciting desert safari tour, tourists all want to experience how it’s like to ride a camel in the Arabian desert.

This is a 225 square kilometer (87.1 square miles) natural reserve which limits the number of tour operators who are permitted to organize trips here. This means that with minimal impact on the environment you can see what the region would have looked like centuries ago.

The three separate OHV areas do not connect. You can’t travel on the dunes or beaches to the three separate dune regions.

The stay will be just perfect: From Cairo to Abu Simbel, we fell under the spell of the Nile: dozens of temples in an incredible state of conservation, the great thrill when we are alone visiting a tomb discovered a few weeks before (Indiana atmosphere Jones!), the discovery of the pyramids on the back of a camel (also the best way to take the most beautiful photos of the pyramids), the incredible beauty of the tombs of the Valley of the Kings (wow guaranteed!), The little-known but superb Valley of the queens that we were the only ones to visit, the temple of Luxor at night (magical), The “Agatha Christian” charm of the cruise on the Nile (I know, it’s not said but I couldn’t find a better term) , without forgetting the fabulous temple of Abu Simbel (wow too!

Make reservations in the summer. Sites fill up fast, if you want to be sure of getting a sitio you better make a reservation.
